Ashgrove Wildlife Services can offer deer stalking to sportsman, from home and abroad. Stalking may take place within a wide range of habitats, from coniferous or broadleaf woodlands to undulating open ground. Species available include: Red, Roe, Fallow, Chinese Water deer, Muntjac and other more exotic species.

If required, various types of high seats are available from single to permanent seats housing 3 or 4 persons. All stalking/hunting is conducted on a fair chase basis, so expect to work hard. Certainly, when woodland still hunting or rough open ground stalking, a fair degree of fitness would be beneficial, especially in respect of the latter.

Ashgrove Wildlife is a well established privately run company. Our head stalker, a keen naturalist since childhood, has some forty years experience covering all aspects of deer management. He maintains a firm belief in the hunting ethic; traditional values held dear by true sportsmen and hunters throughout the world.

Ashgrove has exclusive rights to what may be considered some of the finest deer estates in Eastern England and the Home counties. These estates, all quite unique and with a charm of their own, have played host to many generations of sportsmen and sportswomen.

Alternatively, for those seeking a special trophy or exotic deer species, we are able to offer access to certain well-established estates in the South of England, which, like all our estates, offer deer of outstanding quality.

For overseas visitors wishing to use their own rifles we can obtain a temporary firearms certificate for you, on receipt of the necessary information.* Our office can process this application for you in time for your visit. However, the estate does have various stalking rifles available for the client’s use (subject to suitability) for which there is no charge for this service.
